ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An independent investigator has found evidence that Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated ethics laws by accepting private donations to pay her legal debts.
The report obtained by The Associated Press says Palin is securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, set up by supporters.
Her twitter account says otherwise:
So she violated ethics laws by setting up a fund to pay for her fight against ethics complaints which also broke the existing ethics laws? That’s fucking funny. But golly gosh gee, she’s been so trustworthy up until now. Who do I believe?
Biker’s piss me off. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been in traffic, only to have some dick head on a motorcycle drive in between the lanes and go around everyone. Or drive in the breakdown lane or even on the sidewalk. I swear to god next time it happens I’m opening my door so the fucker gets it in the face. I was so happy to see this on the local online newspaper this morning. Loud bikers started getting their comeuppance in Portsmouth:
Sargent noted the nuisance factor in Market Square Friday at 5 p.m., when he was joined by other city police officers, state troopers and sheriff’s department deputies, who set up a checkpoint in front of the North Church to stop and test exhaust systems on all passing motorcycles. Riders were waved to the side of the road by local officers and if their bikes sounded marginally loud, they were directed to the front of the church to meet troopers with high tech, decibel-measuring gear.
Anyone over 106 decibels was given a warning, said Sargent.
Hah! It’s about time they start enforcing the excessive noise ordinances. That shit is annoying. No one thinks you’re cool.
Meanwhile, many motorcyclists contend that “loud pipes save lives” by making other drivers aware of where they are, particularly if they are in so-called blind spots.
Loud pipes save lives? I can’t believe anyone can say that with a straight face. Fuck you. Just fuck you.
Another suggested a ride to a popular Hampton Beach biker bar.
“Anyone wanna go to Wally’s?” he asked. “We’re welcome there.”
Don’t let the door hit you on your very tiny penis on the way out.
Unfortunately, it looks like the rumors are true. I’m so pissed I can’t even see straight. Why oh why must Fox continue to fuck up anything good on TV these days? So many good shows cancelled, yet this is allowed to live?
U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, set to deploy to Afghanistan, says he shouldn’t have to go.
His reason?
Barack Obama was never eligible to be president because he wasn’t born in the United States.
Cook’s lawyer, Orly Taitz, who has also challenged the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency in other courts, filed a request last week in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector for her client.
In the 20-page document — filed July 8 with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia — the California-based Taitz asks the court to consider granting his client’s request based upon Cook’s belief that Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Slander against the President in a time of war? Say it ain’t so!! I can’t wait to hear what Limbaugh and Hannity have to say about this treasonous bastard!
He certainly looks like a smart fellow. I think he got off easy. Serial killer in the making perhaps?
Columbus firefighter David P. Santuomo, 43, took Sloopy and Skeeter to his home’s basement, suspended them from a pipe near the ceiling and fired at least 11 shots from a .22-caliber rifle fitted with a homemade silencer, Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Ron J. O’Brien said.
Santuomo then wrapped the carcasses in plastic and dumped them in a trash bin behind Firehouse 27, where he worked, O’Brien said.
Nice guy. Maybe I could hire him to house sit my cats?
(CNN) — Three Disney monorail workers have been placed on paid leave just days after two monorail trains crashed at the Orlando, Florida, theme park, killing one of the train’s operators, according to a Disney spokeswoman.
Walt Disney World spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez said the action was “part of an investigative process, not a disciplinary action.”
The three workers were a monorail maintenance shop member, the monorail pilot of one of the trains and a transportation manager.
The on-site investigation is expected to conclude this week, but it will take up to a year for a final report to be published. The report could offer recommendations to Disney on how to make the monorails safer.
A friggin year? Are you kidding?
Something here doesn’t sound quite right to me. Does the monorail run at 2am? I’m having trouble finding a schedule of the running times for them. Anyone confirm this?
